"The document which certify the antiquity of the establishment is the inscription of industrial taxes of first of July from 1.914 to name of Martí Fabrellas Gascons, for the opening in the Saint Mary's Street of Caldes of Malavella, of a "grocery shop" or drugstore, store of consumption articles that formerly coincided in the towns with the business of pedestrians' lodging and passengers. It happens this way in this case, not many years later, as it proves it the official book of sanitary inscriptions of 1.930 in which the establishment is already denominated "Guests Fabrellas" it Marries and still a document more picturesque: a letter of August of 1.928, 29 signed by Francisco Roure, of an agricultural Company of Gimenells that it says this way: "Sta. Mercedes Fabrellas, appreciated friend: having necessity to come another time for that, I direct him the even present to request him it is served to stay the same room that had the last year, I will arrive next week together with my brother's son and my brother-in-law will arrive later some days, I marry of not being able to delight, I will be appreciated he reserves a room, and if it is he possible that it is not of the second floor, because I find it very heavy."
The creator's son, Pedro Fabrellas Aradas, continues the business together with its wife, María Esteba. Their son Amadeu Fabrellas Esteve, marries Pilar Esgleyes Morell and of this marriage, Pedro Fabrellas the founder's Esgleyes great-grandchild, is the current one regular and it takes the reins of the house together with its mother."
